A new year can mean a number of things for different people, maybe for you it means a new start, or continuing on the same as you were. No one can decide what you make of stepping into a new year but there's one thing i want you all to remember, and that is; you do what you want to do, do what makes you happy and make 2015 a year to remember!

Happy New Year! and i'll see you soon x

'Powder Brush', 'Stipler Brush', 'Foundation Brush', 'Smokey eye duo Brush'

Hiya lovelies, so I'm back with another review type post. For Christmas, I was given some make-up brushes from my lovely mum and when I opened them I thought she had spent a considerable amount of money on the very famous 'Real Technique' brushes, but I was fooled! They we'rent branded brushes, in fact they were from 'Wilkinson's' which shocked me extremely.

I looked online and these brushes are retailed at a very cheap £3.99 ish, and they look exactly like 'Real Techniques'. The quality of these brushes are incredible, I was surprised because I thought the bristles in the brushes would be falling out everywhere (like usual 'cheaper' brushes) but they didn't. I actually prefer these brushes because they are so much softer and are much better are applying make-up with.

Overall, I am so happy with these brushes and will definitely be returning to buy some more.

*let me know in the comments what brand are your favourite make-up brushes*

Black Chelsea Boots - H&M - £24.99
Chestnut Short Ugg Boots - Ugg Australia - £150.00
Black Double Buckle Rider Boots - Primark - £11.00

For the fall I've been looking for some decent well made boots, that were versatile and comfortable. So here I have my top 3 picks that I have been loving this fall.

The first are plain black Chelsea boots, these have been extremely popular throughout the past few months, so I found a pair that are super comfy and are retailed at a good price. These only cost £24.99 which is a bargain for a decent pair of boots.

The second are A LOT more expensive and I know not everyone is able to afford these, but I thought I would share them with you because I've been wearing them all the time recently. These are UGG boots from the Australian company and I got them for Christmas last year from my dad and I am in love with them, they are very versatile and super soft inside.

The last ones are the cheapest ones but still have really good quality. They are from Primark and have a padded inside so they are good when wearing them for a long time. The heel isn't too high and resemble a biker/rider boot with double buckles.

So I hope you enjoyed my top picks, if you did comment below your favourite boots or shoes for fall.

What is your favourite thing about autumn and winter?
My favourite thing about autumn in the colours, i love when the leaves turn golden and brown and fall on the floor, i just love it. Then my favourite thing about winter, is obviously CHRISTMAS but also i love the cosy jumpers and boots.

What are you 3 autumn essentials?
My autumn essentials are; jumpers- their a must have, candles- to make your room super cosy and smell amazing, then i would say boots, my favourites are chelsea boots- i find they go well with nearly everything and are super comfy as well.

When do you start getting ready for Christmas?
um, i don't have a specific time, usually its at the end of November, although i think it really starts when you see the coca cola advert on TV, that makes it definite.

Favourite lipstick?
Favourite lipstick would have to be 'Ruby Woo' by MAC cosmetics, just because its a deep red/purple with blue undertones and i think its just perfect for autumn.

Favourite autumn snacks?
um, well i love shortcakes at the moment along with caramel slices.

Drink you order from Starbucks?
Recently, I've been getting the caramel hot chocolate because its so sweet and creamy, but i also tried the pumpkin spice latte the other day and that is pretty good, so it comes in a close second.

Favourite song?
I love love love 'superheroes' by The Script as well as 'thinking out loud' by Ed Sheeran.

What are your future winter blog posts?
Well... that would be a secret! no, i mean i'll be doing a few outfit ideas as well as hairstyles. I'm thinking of also doing some DIY room decorations for christmas/winter, so you'll have to keep checking to find out:)

Rimmel London Match Perfection in 010 Light Porcelain
Rimmel London Wake Me Up in 100 Ivory
Maybelline Super Stay 24 in 010 Ivory
Natural Collection in Ivory

Today I thought I would share with you my top 4 foundations ranging from cheaper drug-store products to a little more expensive. I use foundation on a regular basis so finding the perfect match for me is the most important thing when shopping for make-up. So here I have a few that I've tried and tested.

Rimmel London Match Perfection is an amazing foundation and I find its one of my favourites. It applies really easy and doesn't leave that annoying shiny look like some foundations do. This is the lightest of all my foundations and that's because naturally I have a pale complexion, so because of this I find the lighter colour much better looking when applied.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up is a good foundation that give good coverage. However, I find this foundation feels heavy on my skin, and throughout the day I feel it looks cakey. This foundation is in a darker shade because I feel it gives better coverage this way, I recommend this for those who plan of using small amounts of foundation on a regular basis.

Maybelline Super Stay 24 is slightly more expensive for what it is. All I can really say about this foundation is that it does what it says on the bottle. It covers and gives a brown more warm looking shade to your face. I do like this foundation but its not my favourite, I feel I've over looked it and I might start trying it again.

Last but not least, is the Natural Collection foundation and for me this is my least favourite foundation as again its heavy and feels cakey. Its also very liquid like, so is super runny when applying, so it ends up making more of a mess then doing good. I also found with this foundation that it made my skin slightly more spotty and unhealthy, so as soon as I realised I stopped using this. But this might not happen to everyone, I just have VERY sensitive skin, emphasise on the VERY.

Hello everybody!

So I haven't posted in a while, and that's because I've been super busy preparing for my holiday (THAT'S TOMORROW) and college that I start in September. Anyway, recently I've been really into pamper evenings, treating myself to some luxuries:) so this post is all about my recent pamper evening! I hope you enjoy.

So to start my evening, I prepared my self a hot bubble bath, I used Soap and Glory's 'Calm One, Calm All' bubble bath. I put a few pumps of this pink liquid in and it began to bubble instantly, you can see below:

I filled the bath up full, as you can see from the picture above I have jets on the sides, and on the bottom of my bath, so I turned these on and it made the water bubble like crazy! i must admit it felt weird on my bumbum. So i took the plunge and got in to the boiling hot bath, below is some picture just of all the bubbles, because there was a lot!

I then thought, hmm its quiet in here, so I grabbed my iPhone and put on my all time favourite song right now..

I sat back and began to relax...

THEN, I used the Soap and Glory 'Foam Call' body wash, this makes my skin super soft and smells amazing!! I recommend for you all to go buy this:)

The last thing I needed to do to complete my paper evening, was my face. I used 2 of the Simple Skin Care products, as shown below: one's a toner and another is a cleansing lotion:

And that was the end of my pampering? is that a word?

I hope you enjoyed this post, I may post again tomorrow morning before I go away, but I'm not sure yet! I've left an image down below of all the products I used so you can check the names if you interested in buying. LOVE YOU XX

430 Coralicious (LEFT)
504 Distict-ly come dancing (MIDDLE)
415 Instyle coral (RIGHT)

So, its coming towards the end of the summer, the weather is changing, its getting darker outside and I thought I would share with you my top 3 favourite nail polishes I have used throughout this summer. As you can see they all happen to come from the same brand! They are the 'Rimmel London 60 Second' nail polishes, and they come in a range of colours, I have mentioned up there the colour names and numbers.

So to start on the left, its a coral colour that has a main base colour of red. This is striking and bold and fits nicely with many other colours. I have used this nail polish regularly throughout and I'm currently wearing it now;) This colour I definitely recommend for those who want to make a statement but also want to keep it cool and summery, I will definitely carry on using this next year!

The one in the middle, has to be my all time favourite colour, not only does it have a pretty cool name(READ ABOVE) but it looks amazing on. It is a light blue/green colour that you could call turquoise, all though its more blue. Like I said, it looks amazing on and I definitely recommend it.

The last one is a more pink colour, that fits right in with the summer season, its gloss gives a shine to the pink making it stand out and look gorgeous with lots of outfits. Again it is a coral colour but isn't as orange as an original coral colour, it has more of a pink/peach base, which I really do like.

Overall, I definitely recommend this brand of nail polish because it does dry in 60 seconds like it says and they have a full range of colours for all seasons from summer to winter. I have only these 3 but there are plenty more colours available so if none of these are for you, there is many more to choose from.

I hope you enjoyed this review, I know I have done 2 reviews in a row, but I have something special planned for you guys in a week and a bit. So stick around, keep checking my page as it will be coming soon! I love you all as always, and thankyou for reading.

Feel free to leave some comments below, I love all yours opinions and suggestions, so please take the time to leave a comment, I reply to all comments so don't feel like its a waste of time because it isn't!!

Bye. xxxx

So, I was reading through my comments on my blog post and notice that I had been nominated for the Liebster Award by both Tiffany - http://tiffanys-balderdash.blogspot.co.uk and Zara - http://zarakate.blogspot.ie/ and I want to say a HUGE thankyou as this is my first award nomination so I'm super excited. I will be answering 6 of Tiffany's and 5 of Zara's.

The rules are as followed :
  • You must answer all 11 questions given to you by the person who nominated you.
  • You must link back to the person that nominated you.
  • After completing these questions you must nominate 11 bloggers (with under 200 followers) and give them 11 questions of your choice.
  • You can not nominate the person who nominated you.

You must let your nominees know that they have been nominated and provide a link to your post so that they can learn about it.

Tiffany's Questions:

1. What is your favourite film and why?

My favourite film is 'The Parent Trap' because I love Lindsay Lohan and I think it was really clever how they duplicated her to make her twin.

2. What 3 things would you take with you on a desert island?

I would take my makeup bag, as I literally couldn't live without it, I would also take a friend as I would need some company, and the last thing I would take it is sun cream because I burn like crazy (and that wouldn't be fun).

3. If your life was like a movie, which movie would you chose it to be like?

This may sound weird but I would choose 'High School Musical' just because they seem to have so much fun at school and they have so many good friends around them, and I would love to have that.

4. Who is your favourite Disney Princess and why?

My favourite Disney Princess is Ariel, because she's a mermaid, and she gets to live in the sea (I love the sea) and have all her fishy friends.

5. Is there a time in your life you would change?

Oh my, yes definitely, I have done a lot of bad things in my past that I am no way happy about, and it has affected my friends and family and I have to suffer to consequences. So the answer is a big fat YES.

6. If you could change 3 things about your personality what would they be?

I would change my paranoia, I feel judged by everyone and it has effect on things I do, Next would be attitude towards things, I would say I can be quite negative before I've tried things. Lastly would be my confidence, that is a department I seriously LACK in.

Zara's Questions:

7. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

I would choose to live in America, because I would love to have warmth nearly all year round, also because I would have a higher chance of bumping into Cody Simpson and getting married:)

8. Who is your ultimate style inspiration?

I would have to say Zoella (Zoe Suggs) just because she has so much confidence in what she wears and she just rocks anything and everything.

9. What book had a lasting effect on you?

I would say TFIOS just because it made me realise how short life is, and that you should live everyday like its your last. Don't worry about little silly things and just enjoy the fact you have been given a life to live.

10. What clothing item or accessory could you not live without?

I could not live without is skinny jeans, oh my god! if there were no skinny jeans I don't know what I could do. I HATE leggings, so I would have to walk around in my pjs;)

11. What era should you have grown up in?

That's easy! definitely the 50's or 60's the style back then was amazing, the girls all looked so well groomed and feminine. I also love the music that was then, easily inspired by grease.

So I want to say a massive thankyou to Tiffany and Zara, I'm sorry I didn't answer ALL of both of yours, but I didn't want the post to be too long.

MY NOMINATIONS ARE:

Isabella - http://isabellasnowe.blogspot.co.uk/
Stephanie Louise - http://stephsilverlining.blogspot.com.au/
Francesca - http://francescabeauty.blogspot.co.uk/
 Ellis - http://ellissinwonderland.blogspot.co.uk/

Amy - http://amytalks96.blogspot.co.uk/
Myra - http://winterthorne.blogspot.co.uk/

and the questions are...

1. Who's your favourite blogger and why?
2. If you could be one celebrity for a day, who would it be?
3. Who's your biggest fashion inspiration?
4. What made you create a blog?
5. What would you say your style blogging is?
6. What's your dream job?

Natural Collection Moisture Shine in Pink Mallow - £1.99
Seventeen Lasting Fix in Hawaii Pink - £4.65
Rimmel London Kate Moss in 110 - £3.99?
Avon in Rose Ribbons - FREE!

I've really wanted to talk about my favourite 4 lipsticks this year, so here I am, and I hope you enjoy my picks for this year.
I've only recently started getting into wearing lipsticks as I never really used to before, but I've got a few (shown above) that are my particular favourites.
The first lipstick is the Natural Collection Moisture Shine lipstick in the colour Pink Mallow, now this is amazing, its cheap for starters but it also glides nicely over your lips giving you a full colour as well as moisturising your lips at the same time. Its a handy size, easier to apply when on the go.
Up next is the Seventeen Lasting Fix lipstick in the colour Hawaii Pink, again this lipstick is easy to apply and carry round, this lipstick is super pigmented and gives you a fully, striking colour, so if your looking for a neutral, subtle colour, I wouldn't recommend this for you. This lipstick comes in at a little more expensive but definitely worth every penny.
Now we have the Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in 110. This is a bold, bright red that is very eye catching and gives your lips a full look. I wasn't 100% sure on the price as I got this a while ago, but it is roughly £3.99. This lipstick is perfect for those who want to make a statement.
Lastly, we have the Avon lipstick in Rose Ribbons, now I actually got this for free, as myself and my sister were sent one from the company. This lipstick is a marbled colour giving you a range of tones and highlights once applied. Again I don't know the price for this, but I don't think it is that expensive.
These are my favourite 4 lipsticks and if my descriptions above suit you then I definitely recommend them for you. I like to change my lipsticks up, so everyday is a new day:) I hope you enjoyed my views on these lipsticks! and I'll see you guys soon.
What's your favourite lipsticks? Am I missing any good ones?

So, recently I have been really into Ariana Grande and how she dresses and does her hair, and I have noticed that there is one hairstyle that is VERY popular, so I asked on my instagram if you wanted a tutorial blog post and you said yes, so here it is.

Step 1: first you need to section off your hair into a high ponytail, now the amount of hair depends on the thickness of your hair. For me my hair is thick and long so I took more of it up into the ponytail. (leave your hair as natural a possible as this will help when it comes to curling it).

Step 2: once you've gathered the amount of hair you want, fasten this with a hair tie, again the type of hair tie depends on the thickness of your hair. (I have quite a thick hairband).

As you can see I have placed the ponytail, high up on my head and it helps keep the top neat as well as making the curls look longer and more precise.

Step 3: Now its time to curl your hair. I always start with the ponytail as I find its easier, but its up to you how you want to do it. So first you need to section out your hair into small (ish) parts, this will make the curls more defined.

As you can see, I am curling the hair round the wand nearer the smaller end, so the curls are tighter. Hold each section for around 45 seconds (don't do it too long or you'll burn and damage your hair).

Step 4: Once you have curled all the ponytail it should look something like this:

You now need to spray all over with a hairspray, getting quite close so the curls will hold throughout the day. As you can see I have used the 'VO5 strong hold', but any hairspray will do.

Step 5: Now you need to curl the rest of you hair, again repeat the steps above, by taking small sections and curling. (Make sure to use hairspray once finished).

Once you have finished it should look something like this:

Now you can adjust and redo any bits, as well as adding some ribbon or bows or even flowers. Or you can simply leave it like I did. The finishing product should look like below:

I really hoped you enjoyed this tutorial as I enjoyed making it so much. Leave some comments below on what you thought and anything you would like to see mepost.

love you xxxxxxxx

Not everyone has lots of money to spend on everyday makeup, I know I don't! So I thought I would post a few items that I use that all cost under £10. There are other makeup brands and products out there but I've chosen what I use and what I find the best.

Lets start with foundation. So I've selected the 'Dream Matte Mousse' by Maybelline. This comes in a mousse/spongy form, that cost around £8. This foundation is easy to apply and remove and gives you a full coverage without using too much. This foundation lasts long for myself because of its pigmentation it means that you don't have to use a lot, which means you get more for your money.

The next makeup item is the 'Simple Eye shadow Palette' by Beauty UK. Now this palette has a range of colours, it has: 2 browns, a golden colour, white, blue, purple, pink, grey, green, and a deeper green. This palette allows you to create many different looks using only one selection. This palette was around £4.50-£5. They do have a selection of different ones including different colours, its all just down to your preference.

The next essential makeup product I have is 3 different types of mascara. In my opinion a good mascara can make or break a look. Sometimes you don't want a heavy look and other times you do. The first one I have for you in the 'Studio Lash Instant Volume' by Miss Sporty(the pink one). This really does what it says on the label, it gives your lashes a longer more voluminous look, INSTANTLY! this cost £2.99. The next mascara is the 'Fabulous Lash' by Miss Sporty(the black one) as well. This is more of a subtle mascara that applies a thin layer almost natural looking, and this was £2.99 as well. The Last mascara I have is the 'Waterproof and Long Lash' by Natural Collection. Now if you looking for a basic mascara that just makes your lashes darker and more defined then this is the one for you! its basic and simple, and doesn't do much more then what it says. It is also SUPER cheap coming in at only £1.99!

Next there is a simple, basic eyeliner pencil by Miss Sporty and this was £1.99. It has a roller edge allowing you to expose more of the liner. This glides on smoothly and comes off easily. However, this does smudge quite a bit, so I recommend spraying hairspray on top(not too close to your face) and this will hold it for longer.

Now, there is a MUA bronzer that was £2.99. Its in the medium shade and is a hard powdered form. This does come up VERY dark, so even if it doesn't look that dark in the container, it does on skin! This holds all day giving you a more defined cheekbones, or can even just be used to give you a bit of colour.

The LAST item I have for you is the 'Rosy Pink Blusher' by Miss Sporty. This is as basic as a blusher gets. It gives you pinker, fuller looking cheeks and that's it. A blusher is a blusher and that's it. I like the colour of this one as it sets off my pale skin tone. This was only £1.99.

So I hope I've shared with you all the good makeup products that are under £10! Cheap makeup can be just as good as something expensive, so try them out first and see how it works.

Thankyou for reading my lovelies xxxx

Sometimes finding the perfect outfit for a night out is impossible! you find a top you like but can't find the right skirt? no worries... I've come up with an outfit that doesn't only look amazing but is also affordable.

First, I've started with a simple black crop top. This is from Topshop and was only £8! it comes in a variety of sizes and colours, I chose black because it ties in nicely with the rest of the outfit. The low cut neckline puts emphasis on the cleavage giving you a wild and party style look. The thin spaghetti style straps give a almost unnoticeable look but still holds the top securely onto yourself.

The skirt itself is made from a stiff, strong material that ensures no creases throughout the night and also after washing. This skirt is from H&M and was £7.99 which is an amazing deal for a decent skirt. The skirts pattern is a black and white Aztec that appear horizontal giving you a slimming and fitted look. The skirt is done up using a small, almost unnoticeable zip at the back, that allows you to remove and put on easily.

I've added a splash of subtle colour through the clutch bag and shoes. They are both a neutral pink/cream colour. The bag is from Newlook and cost £12.99. This is a great price as this bag is very versatile by having a chained strap, that can be used of simply tucked inside. The sandals are from Accessorize and were only £4!! they are matching colour to the bag and have small buckles at the side. These help secure the shoes to your feet. On the front the detailing is pink/cream gems that are on the strap that go between your toes.

This outfit is perfect for a day out, a night out or even just a summer casual wear. Its AFFORDABLE and FABULOUS!

Thankyou for checking out my blog, I will be posting again shortly. Please leave some comments below on what you thought and what you would like to see. Also give it a like and follow me on 'Bloglovin' by simply clicking the link at the side.
