Halloween is less than 3 days away now and I don't know about you but my mum only buys our pumpkin a day before Halloween, I know, it's so annoying! However, it does give me plenty of time to decide what I am going to carve into my pumpkin. Ideas are endless and the frustration to find the best one is real, therefore below I have included a list of things you could carve your pumpkin into. I hope this helps some of you.

Design Ideas:

  • Scary Faces - as simple as this sounds, it can be the most effective looking thing on a pumpkin, the options for this are endless and the more you let your imagination run the better your pumpkin will look.
  • Characters - this can be anything from Disney characters, to typical Halloween including bats and witches. Have fun, pick wicked and wild things, let your imagination take over.
  • Patterns - if you're not into the whole Halloween being scary thing then finding a nice geometric or unusual pattern could be a nice idea, make it simple or make it intricate, it's completely up to you.
  • Your own face - it could be quite interesting if you were to carve a portrait of either yourself, a friend or a member of family. Make it fun and interesting by making them look scary or nice, depends what type of person you are:) (i'd make my family look scary!)
  • 'Sick' pumpkin - I love this idea, basically what you do is you carve a normal face of a pumpkin, making sure the mouth is open, and then you add the inner of the pumpkin as sick falling out of it's mouth. CLICK TO SEE AN EXAMPLE
There we have a few ideas on things to carve into your pumpkin this Halloween. I hope you guys enjoyed and if you carve a pumpkin this week, tag me in your picture on instagram (@hiyaimlouu), i'd love to see what you guys create! Stay safe this Halloween and don't be too scared!;)

Hello everyone!

Today's post is a collab with the ever so gorgeous Ellie from petiteelliee.blogspot.co.uk so make sure you go check out her post after reading mine. Myself and Ellie decided to do a 'what's in my autumn/winter makeup bag' so we have both included different items.

The first thing i have in my makeup bag is concealer, i like to have 2 different types as i prefer to mix them together to make the perfect colouring. I have the Collection 'lasting perfection' concealer and the Rimmel 'wake me up'.

Next up is the Maybelline 'master sculpt' as i like to try and keep some bronzer and tan on my face throughout winter, because i love summer too much and want to keep it with me the best i can! I love the highlighter in this set as its the perfect glimmer for pale skin.

Now we have the eye makeup, i like to carry round minimal makeup so i tend to stick with the Maybelline 'colour tattoo' as its the perfect gold colour for autumn/winter. I pair this with the Maybelline precise liner and mascara 'great lash'. These compliment each other and make the look. I love using golds and silver eyeshadows within the winter.

Lastly, is lips, now my lips get super dry in the winter months so i head straight towards my Carmex as its a heavy duty lip balm and keeps my lips moisturized throughout the day. For lipstick i like to head towards browny pinks and nudes as i feel it compliments my skin tone much more than brighter colours.

That is all for my winter/autumn makeup bag! make sure you go check out Ellie's post and comment below what you thought!

Until next time, byee!
